tab above for details.For 16 years strong, BEACH CITY LIGHTNING HOCKEY ASSOCIATION is a youth hockey organization that provides a quality hockey program to the youth in our community. It is the mission of this program to create and maintain an environment that emphasizes the fun and joy of ice hockey to our youth members, as well as to teach the fundamentals of the game, sportsmanship and team work, leadership and fair play, all the while maintaining the integrity of the game. Our coaches work very hard to teach the kids the importance of how hard work, effort and commitment will allow them to succeed. Our 2007/2008 youth ice hockey season was very successful! Many of our players were recognized for their outstanding performance and academic achievements. During the 2007/2008 season, the Club placed 8 Tournament Team Finalist, 3 Tournament Team Champions, 2 Regular Season Team Champion, 3 SCAHA Playoff Teams and 1 CAHA Tier II Playoff team, 2 SCAHA Championship Team Semi-Finalist, and 2 CAHA State Playoff Teams. Bantam A teams won the SCAHA Regular Season Championship. Our teams brought true meaning to the term “travel hockey” with ventures as far as Niagara NY, Chicago IL, Port Huron MI, Colorado Springs CO, Las Vegas NV, San Jose CA and Phoenix AZ. We are very proud of all our players! We provide hockey at all levels, from beginners, to advanced, from local play to National teams, and we anticipate the 2008/2009 season to be just as exciting and entertaining for our players and their families as this past season.
