Can a player be released from the club?
SCAHA will not allow any lateral releases to any player in the league. SCAHA will only consider upward movement releases if the club does not offer a team at that level. The club can release players/parents for diciplinary reasons.

Do I have to pay my obligation to the club if I quit?
At Beach Cities, what comes in, goes out. The membership agreement that was signed with your LOI obligates you to pay for the entire season. If a player/parent refuses to pay, they will be reported Delinqent.

What do I do if I have a problem with a Coach?
Talk to the Coach directly after a 24-hour calm down period has passed. If that does not satisfy you, contact the Director of Coaches who will mediate the problem. If you are still not satisfied, contact the Board of Directors.

When are the Beach City Board meetings?
The meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month begining at 7:00pm at KHS Ice Arena; all BCL members are invited to attend.

What happens if I sign two (2) Letters of Intent?
Once a parent/legal guardian or player signs a Letter of Intent, he or she may not tryout for any other team or Club. Players who sign more than one (1) Letter of Intent will be immediately suspended from any on-ice participation, which includes games/practices, until such time as his or her status has been determined by SCAHA. Parents/legal guardians signing two (2) letters of intent will be fined up to $500.00.

How much do tryouts cost?
Tryouts cost $30.00 per tryout, players should bring their Birth Certificate, equipment and their USA Hockey card.
